Coberturas Selváticas Chocovic 2007

This is a variety of chocolates based on cocoas with fruity or spicy aromas and as soon as I tasted them, I thought of exotic places. I took the word exotic as the communication concept, calling the range "Coberturas Selváticas"(Wild Forest) and using illustrations showing exotic jungles. I have always been fascinated by Henri Rousseau's paintings and here was an opportunity to recreate them: we commissioned Eva López to make four illustrations in a Rousseau-style and including cocoa beans, with daylight scenes for the milk chocolates and night-time ones for the dark chocolates. We used the illustrations as backgrounds for the packs and placed all the information on bands of a single colour.
