Basi Homme 2000, 2007

here the brand was being repositioned as closer to nature. We created a stone family. Toni Arola selected riverbed pebbles for the feminine line and I proposed a cube-shaped block of stone, the edges rounded by the sea, for the masculine line. We painted the bottle for women as if it were glass eroded by water and the men's bottle like solid Chinese inkstone, very matt black.
The first boxes were made of translucent stiff plastic, with foam to keep the bottles steady, and a horizontal opening insinuating the shapes inside. This year we redesigned the box for men which shows a photo of a plant in autumn.
